On March 7th a group of SYC sailors met to discuss plans for this year's racing.  Henry Bowen SYC Racing Director led the discussion.   

The group agreed to Beer Can racing on Thursday nights (no scoring), 6PM start. We will have a volunteer sign up for setting marks. Season starting on Thursday April 30th.  

Competitive Racing on first Sunday of the month, alternate between buoy racing and distance racing. (avoid holiday weekends - will publish schedule on website)

Regatta target for September 26-27 with back up weekend of October 3-4 (more details to follow).

The Board approved this plan on 3/18.   We look forward to the 2026 season!
