Welcome To Saylorville Yacht Club

Saylorville Yacht Club is a thriving group of sailors whose boats are based at Saylorville Lake Marina, just 15 minutes north of Des Moines, Iowa. The club exists to promote the enjoyment of sailing and the company of sailors. We are organized on a solid tripod of social, educational, and racing activities.

Membership provides "instant friends" with the common bond of sailing. Our club has a full calendar of parties, on-the-water events, dockside gatherings, racing, tools, and know-how. Affordable courses are available to sharpen your skills; and you can test those skills in our challenging, low-cost racing program. From the first party in February to the annual banquet in November, you'll look forward to events every month.
